The best way to develop a new habit (good or bad) is to reduce the barriers of entry.

If you want to make sure you go for a run every morning, you could try sleeping in your running gear, so the getting dressed barrier is out the way. I wouldn’t actually recommend doing that, but you know where I’m coming from.

The same is true for our thoughts.
